Our COVID-19 Precautions
What we are doing to keep you safe
ACT is proud to continue to serve you in a safe and professional manner. We have taken the extra precautions to ensure that the safety of our staff and our clientele is our top priority. Here is a list of the recent changes that have been made to our ongoing processes.
Our Updated Health And Safety Procedures
- Courses will proceed with a limited number of participants as long as the proper precautions are taken. When setting up the room, our employees will ensure that at least 6 (six) feet of distance between chairs are provided.
- We have an ample amount of cleaning supplies, hand sanitizer, hand soap, and other cleaning products to use to disinfect the workplace continuously. Our employees are correctly disposing of any rags, tissues, disinfection towels etc. into the correct bin/garbage.
- We’ve ensured that if any employee has been out of the country in the last 14 days or has been in contact with someone who has been out of the country in the previous 14 days, they are not permitted in our building. If any ACT employee or participant has been in contact with someone that has tested positive for COVID-19 or suspects that they have COVID-19, they are not permitted in our building.
- When entering the ACT office, there will be stations set up to disinfect your hands. Upon arrival, all employees and visitors will have to wash/clean their hands before continuing.
- During the practical component of the training, the classroom participants must stand at least 6 (six) feet away from each other. Equipment will be disinfected after each participant to ensure that nothing is transmitted to the next person. Gloves may be mandatory, depending on the practical exercises involved with that training session. Masks are required to be worn at all times in our office.
- Although PPE, such as masks and gloves, are available by ACT, we encourage all participants to wear their own.
- To limit the spread of COVID-19, ACT is issuing manuals during specific courses only (JHSC and WAH). Participants in other courses will be provided with PowerPoint notes only.
We want to thank you in advance for your patience and understanding during this time. If you have any questions regarding our updated procedures, don’t hesitate to reach out and we will be more than happy to answer your questions.
